I ordered this blue sofa because it matches the existing blue patio swivel rockers I have on the front porch of my workshop. What I received was 2 individual rockers with white cushions and a black side table. I sent it back and asked that what I ordered be delivered to me. A week later, I received another set of white cushioned rockers – so I guess I’ll go ahead and give a review of them.
These are your typical aluminum alloy and plastic “rattan” patio seats. They are pretty easy to assemble – just be sure to start the bolts with your fingers to avoid cross-threading the captive nuts. The set I got has white cushions (a pretty poor choice for outdoor furniture – good luck keeping it looking at all clean) with light tan plastic “rattan” seats, backs and the shelf portion of the table. The cushion fabric is of average quality, and I’ve elected to keep the plastic bags on the cushions to try to keep them from getting filthy the first day out. Since the colors of the cushions and rattan do not match the set on the front porch of my workshop, I’ve placed this set on the back porch. Since they will be under cover all the time, I am hopeful to get 3 or 4 years out of the set before the cushions need replacement. When that happens, I’ll likely spray paint the “rattan” brown to match my existing set and replace the white cishions with some blue ones.
The seats are surprisingly wide and really all that comfortable. I would have preferred the 3 seat couch that was pictured, but I’m sure that these rockers will be of some use.
